So you probably have an "inkling " (love these English words by the way) about us already. Just so you know feelings don't lie

And before you get a chance to move away from this page or start "huffing & puffing " about "this, that & the other " not to mention our laid back lifestyle, let us share a few things we picked up during our recent trip to "Blighty " (that's the UK for the rest of us) such as all these weird & wonderful, "bizarre" & fun words we "stumbled across ", not to mention this lovely Tango Calendar we found that guided us around the London Tango scene. Actually we were so impressed by the calendar, we decided to drop the guys behing the [London Tango Calendar] a thank you message to express our "sincere gratitude " for such a fine agenda resource. And would you "Adam & Eve " it, before we knew "what hit us " we were chatting away to them about our Tango travels, places we've all visited, how it was possible we never met over the years etc etc and then somehow we got talking about this "idea".

How easy would it be to take the marvellous [London Tango Calendar] and turn it into a similar resource for all the "tomads" among us? Before we could even say we're "just kidding " and "it's the vino talking ", the guys not only offered a helping hand but actually went all geeky on us. You know talking all techie an stuff, yuk! To be honest we almost ran off screaming "laters " but didn't want to be impolite. We forgot all about it the next day, but a few moons later we quite literally couldn't "believe our eyes " when they came back to us with a fully working demo website. OMG! (or should that say "WTF!"?) And over the next week or so it grew into our "absolutly fabulous " ("darling ") website. We hope you will love it as much as we do.

‍‍

PS We found out that the best way to learn a language is by using what we learn, so please forgive the vocabulary and in case you didn't realise we had a helping hand or two (even though none of us seem able to spell) jotting down all these "insanely humorous" words that we think are really French mwahahaha

Looking back we still don't know how a trip to London, a Google search for Tango, and a chat with some laid back guys resulted in us creating our very own Tango website, but that's exactly what happened

Just so you know we are no strangers to using these types of websites ourselves and found many over the years. Most have a Calendar and some use sophisticated tools to list and manage events. But "here's the thing ". We believe in simplicity and the difference at the end of the day not only comes down to ease of use but shared goals & principles.

When we heard what the London gang were up to, moving away from their former Calendar to an open community orientated project we were "all ears ". And hearing their story about how they started, to the challenges faced etc it became clear right away that we didn't need too much of the "techie" stuff. What we do need however is a simple way for people like us to contribute & encourage the community to get involved, possibly grow their own calendar websites (watch this space).

We love a good vision and the guys seem equally enthusiastic & excite about a global community project with local 𝚃𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚞𝚎@𝚜 and 𝚝𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚍𝚜 joining in to create something truly special.

And the best bit is that we don't need to know anything about the techie bits or god forbid that "code" stuff the guys were "banging on about". Oh and did we mention they did all this "from the bottom of their heart", costing nada, "not a sausage", not even a single penny!
